Here we are in Berlin, celebrating my birthday with a walking tour of things I wanted to see (which isn't necessarily the same as things Luisa wanted to see!). So, in no particular order, you'll see lots of pictures of the TV tower, complete with revolving restaurant where we had a dinner, and very nice it was too. We also have lots of the fabulous Templehoff Airport - truly a cathedral of the air and also a set of pictures from the Karl Marx Allee - the East German showpiece boulevard complete with its monumental apartment buildings (for the best workers!), which I've somehow not managed to capture the scale of at all, because they really are vast! We also have a few of the Jewish memorial and the Berlin wall.
